Welcome to our web site, and thank you for taking the time to learn
more about us and our Borzoi.

Should you have any questions and/or suggestions, feel free to contact
us.
We fell in love with borzoi when we attended a show
way back in the 1980's.  The dog was a beautiful tri
color.  I sure wish now that I
could remember who it was.  Not too long after that
we rescued an Afghan Hound.  From  there, we
purchased a show Afghan and so
began our dog show career.   After having to send
our last Afghan Hound to the rainbow bridge at the
age of 13, we told ourselves "no
more dogs".  Sure - that lasted a whole two weeks.
Ed said that he missed seeing that long nose and
beautiful eyes.  That is when we
decided that we would finally look for a borzoi.  So,
in July of 2001, we brought home our first borzoi
family member "Majenkir King
Midas".  In November we had "Pebbles",  Majenkir
Ksar My Pebble Beach join the family.  She and
Midas got along famously.   We lost
Midas in early December at just 11 months old after
only having him with us for 4 months.  Needless to
say we were devastated.  Then
while attending the 2002 Nationals, we met the
Thompson's of Dana Dan Borzoi.  They had a 3 year
old male that would make a great
romping friend for Pebbles.  His name is Dana Dan
Phantom.
But Ed was looking to add a male that would be a
boyfriend for Pebbles
when he visited the web site of Zabava Borzoi.
They had just had a litter and Ed fell in love with
one little white boy.  Talk about love at
first site.  He contacted Irena and Kristina Terra
and found that the little white boy was not spoken
for. This little white boy was called
Felock (Russian) by the Terra's, however, Linda
had a hard time pronouncing it.  We decided the we
would call the newest member of
the family "Phillip".  (Zabava Milky Way)
All of the above mentioned family members now
have Champion title before their names and each
have placed in group.  Phillip has a
Group 1 and multiple other group wins,  Pebbles and
Phantom have Group 2 wins.  All three have been
owner handled with the exception of two shows
where Phillip was handled by handler Shea Beck.
Phillip also has a JC and Ed put a CGC Title on him.
 Pebbles also has a JC.

Other Family Member

A furry ball was added during last summer when Ed
saw a woman with a number of Pomeranians. His
name is Putt-Putt.
Linda brought home a min. Daschund from work one
day that was scheduled to go to the pound by the
owners mother. He was going to stay a couple of
days till we found him a home. That was late
summer of 2007. He is still here! His name is Baby.

Reno is our Blue Front Amazon.  She is a real
character.  She sings songs like  - You are my
Sunshine, Oh what a beautiful morning,
Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is coming to town,  I'm a
little tea pot, and a couple of more.  She calls the
dogs and says "Let's Go!"  We use
to have chickens and geese that would get near the
road and she learned to call them back mimicking
Linda with calls of,  "c'mon chickens, c'mon geese" .

For those who may have noticed her bio missing,
Scribbles, our minature Poodle passed away at 13+
years of age a few weeks ago. She will be missed.
